History:
According to the Institute of Imam Khomeini's decree to the Council dated Mar 9 1357 with the aim of helping the poor and needy established on 3 August 1358 under the number 1983 in the Companies Registration Office of Iranian nationals were registered as non-profit, and on 3 December 1367 issued a decree of the leader of Iran, addressed to the Prime Minister, the name was changed to veterans Foundation and the Foundation on 6 June 1383 with the approval of Iran's supreme leader, mission and organization of veterans to create a new organization called martyr Foundation and Veterans Affairs was transferred to that institution and the institution's name was changed to the Foundation Islamic Revolution, President of the Foundation every 5 years and is chosen by Ayatollah Khamenei.
